Project Overview
AFO World Ltd is launching a pioneering cassava-to-bioethanol pilot project designed to transform agricultural waste into clean, renewable energy. This initiative integrates sustainable cassava farming with local processing into fuel-grade bioethanol, targeting energy access, job creation, and industrial development across rural Nigeria. The project forms the foundation for a larger-scale agro-energy circular economy model, where waste from cassava is reused in feed production, organic fertilizer, and energy recovery.
Project Objectives
Establish a fully operational 10,000 L/day bioethanol micro-refinery.
Support 100+ local cassava farmers through offtake and training.
Create clean cooking fuel and off-grid electricity options for rural use.
Serve as a proof-of-concept for nationwide replication.
